Often referred to as simply a duvet, a duvet cover is a protective casing that fits over a duvet. Much like a pillow cover for a pillow, the duvet cover acts as a hygienic barrier against stains, sweat, oils, and spills and is a must for keeping your duvets last long.
Duvets require dry cleaning and special maintenance. Using a duvet cover helps protect them from spillage and damage, reducing the frequency with which they need to be cleaned.
The usual turnaround time for a business order is 2-3 weeks.

We ship our products (via surface courier / transport) based on customer's request.
If required urgently, we use Surface Courier which can become a little expensive but a fast means of transportation. However, if you require the cost-effective way to get your products delivered, we can ship the products through Cargo Transport.
Non-hypoallergenic fabrics mean that your customers may be prone to allergic reactions from using the quilt cover. This is why, at Sohum we ensure that all our products are made from hypoallergenic fabrics. This ensures that the fabrics they have less irritants, making them safer and more comfortable to use.
You should avoid high heat in the washer and dryer at all costs. Washing covers in a cool setting is important to increase its lasting. Also, never overload you washing machine with covers. Avoiding it will reduce stress on your fabrics and keep your covers cleaner.
Some people may believe that hotels change the bedroom and bathroom linens in each of their rooms on a daily basis. However, that is not the case.
You should change your linens once in three days or when your guest requests it. And, of course, change your linens when the occupancy of a room changes.
Customers usually want to know if their new Quilt Cover will shrink. The simple answer is yes and that is because they are 100% cotton. They will shrink about 3% to 5% the first few times you wash them. But not to worry. Sohum Linens has compensated for that shrinkage so this is not become a problem.
Our linens are cut in such a way that they are over-sized to account for that shrinkage.
Thread count is the number of warp and weft threads found in one square inch of fabric. In other words, it is the number of threads or yarns in one square inch of fabric. Given, the other aspects of the cotton and finishing were identical, a higher thread count means higher quality fabric. Higher thread count sheets contain more cotton, so they last longer than lower thread count sheets.
Covers can yellow because of a number of factors. Below are some of the causes of yellowing sheets that you can avoid:
• Using too much detergent
• Overloading the washer
• Not washing your sheets as often as you should.
• Not cleaning your mattress protectors.
